UVS Forste -Viking Battleship

An image I made so many months ago; this is only a mere copy of the original picture (I got it from my Facebook albums). So, it's smaller than the original and not as clear.

This is the Første; the Vikings' first ever battleship. Built during the height of the Atlantic War (which the fanfic 'reykjavik' is the prequel) it was the greatest, and only, advantage the Vikings had against the strong naval force from the Confederate Navy. Not only that, it was the only thing the Vikings had to an Industrial-Age weapon; while the rest of their military, including small arms and siege weapons, were merely from the Medieval-Age. Ironically, being a Viking ship, it was built on a Roman dry dock; since during the point of its construction most, if not all, of the dry docks of the Nordic Union that were big enough to accommodate the battleship were captured by the Confederacy. However, despite Romans and Vikings being bitter rivals, the war came to unite the two nations, and throughout the war, the Roman government allowed the Viking Navy to use their dry docks for the continued construction of several more battleships. After the war, the Første became the symbol of ultimate Viking engineering and naval strength, as well as the symbol of victory over a war never expected by the world. The Første became a Viking icon, and every image or painting of the Første is immediately depicted by any tourist as "Viking" or "Nordic Union" (just like the Eiffel Tower depicted as "French" or the Giza Pyramids as "Egyptian").

The battleship's inception came from Hiccup's efforts to steal confidential Confederate documents while on his inside job mission on the American continent. There, he stole several documents, which include the blueprints for the construction of the battleships, glider carriers, and several enhanced grenades. If not for Hiccup's efforts, the battleships would've been under the Confederate Navy.

It's official name is the UVS Første; serving the Royal Norwegian Navy under the Unified Viking Navy (UVS meaning:Unified Viking Ship). It is under the class of Beowulf battleships (with seventeen other battleships joining the Første on this class).
